2 Units on Boise St. +1½ -110
The Boise State Broncos are, maybe suprisingly to some, actually a better team on the road than SMU is at home this year. The Broncos sit at 7-4 (9-2 ATS) on the road this year, helping them to a 9-6 (10-5 ATS) conference record as well. SMU, however, has struggled both at home and in the WAC, winning just 4 of 9 home games, and 4 of 14 conference games this season. Boise State's offense scores a little more than 10 ppg more than the SMU 'O', and the fact that Boise is on a 3 game ATS winning streak doesn't hurt this play much either.

2 Units on San Francisco -2 -110
San Francisco has been a winning machine at home this season. They've earned an impressive 10-2 home record, which can be accredited to their tough home defense, a squad that is giving up less than 65 point per game on the Don's home court. Suprisingly, the Dons already beat Pepperdine AT Pepperdine by 12 points earlier this year. The difference? Defense of course! Pepperdine gives up almost 80 points per game, nearly 15 more than San Fran. The Waves are just 5-10 on the road, and while they do have a better conference record than the Dons, I don't think they can overcome the fact that they have to travel to play a team that defeated them by double digits on their home court.

2 Units on Manhattan -10 -110
It's not a matter of IF the Jaspers are goin to win, it's simply a matter of BY HOW MUCH? Tonight I say they win in a landslide. Rider is 8-4 at home this year, but every time they lose, they fail to cover the spread. Rider has also been OK in the conference at 9-7, but they are nowhere near the team the Manhattan has become. The Jaspers are 9-2 on the road this year, and have earned an impressive 15-1 record in the MAAC. The Manhattan offense (especially lately with over 80 ppg in their last 5) and defense can be given equal credit for their success, the offense averages 75 points per game on the season, and the D barely gives up 60 ppg. The ten point spread doesn't quite do justice to a team that has played phenomenally this year.

5 Units on Niagara -8 -110
STEAM PLAY-MAAC GAME OF THE YEAR
Forget about it. This game can be, and should be a blowout. Niagra has is in a fight for 2nd place in the Metro Atlantic Athletic conference (11-5), and the Purple Eagles aren't going to pass up a chance at beating up on the pitiful Red Foxes of Marist, who sit near the bottom of the conference at just 4-12. Niagra has a huge advantage in that they play very well on the road, earning and 8-4 record this year, covering in each of their wins that were on the board. The Red Foxes, on the other hand, have been less than spectacular on their home court, winning just 5 of 13 home games, pushing or failing to cover in each home loss. Marist has only covered the spread in 3 of their last 11 contests, including the 36 point beating Niagra gave them earlier this month. There is a huge discrepency in talent and style of play in this game as well, most notably on the offensive side of the ball, where Niagra averages a hefty 81 points per game on the year, while the Foxes scrounge up only 61 points per contest. After the beating Marist took back on Feb. 5th I don't see any way The Purple Eagles don't walk away with a double digit victory.

Today's Pick: CAL ST FULLERTON +3
CBB
UC-Santa Barbara vs. CS-Fullerton
10:00 EST

It just looks funny doesn?t it? UC-Santa Barbara won the first meeting by 33 points on January 31st at home. But the Gauchos have no business being a road favorite despite that lopsided score. This team?s leading scorer is averaging 10.8 points a contest. They are 1-4 SU in their last five while Fullerton State is gunning for their 5th straight conference home win tonight. One warning: I usually avoid this conference like the plague but can?t resist going against this pretender of a road chalk. Gauchos fall to 4-9 SU on the highway and 3-11 ATS in conference play. CS-Fullerton 5-1 ATS the past three years when trying to avenge a road blowout defeat of 20 points or more. Play CS Fullerton.

BigJoe -

Have you ever heard of Matt Rivers? Apparently this guy has some 20,000** lock tonight, let me know if you come across it:

"For Thursday, I am releasing a bomb-dropping 20,000* hoops play. I am dropping the hammer, going for my man's jugular. Only four times in my entire life have I released a play rated this strongly, and I'm a perfect 4-0. The last one was on a guy named Carmelo Anthony and his Syracuse teammates against Kansas in last year's national title game. You probably remember the game, it was fairly substantial, as the Orange won outright as the 5 1/2 point dog."

Thanks

Thanks Jimmymo - I usually don't follow these services anyway, better off capping myself usually. Somehow Matt Rivers got my email address and sent me that, so I figured i'd find out what his pick was to see if he won.
Thanks again
